A Complete Guide On How To Buy A Refrigerator

The time has changed. Every time you decide to go shopping, you will be bombarded with tons of options to choose from. The same case applies to the refrigerator. With the advancement of technology, manufacturers aim to provide their customers with a modern refrigerator, updated and equipped with the latest features available in the market. As a result, you will have too many styles, colors and smart features to choose from. Without a doubt, this can be overwhelmingly overwhelming for you.

But do not worry anymore, in this guide, our goal is to solve your problem and help you choose the refrigerator that is best for you. Let's start with the style.

Style:

When it comes to style, there are four popular options on the market: top freezer, bottom freezer, side by side and French door.

Top freezer

The top freezer is the most common style; Two-thirds of the refrigerator is dedicated to storing food, while the freezer on top is for frozen foods, ice, etc. The upper freezers give you a good storage space and are also economical. If you are not looking for something fancy and just want a refrigerator that does the work, do it.

Bottom freezer

Bottom freezer, evident by its name has the freezer at the bottom. If you want to have easier access to fresh foods, which are located in the bottom of a top freezer, the bottom freezer is perfect for you. It is not very different from a top freezer and they are typically a little larger than them.

Side-by-side

A side-by-side refrigerator model allows you to have frozen foods on one side and fresh foods on the other. While some models divide the refrigerator and freezer section equally, others give a few extra inches next to the refrigerator. In contrast to the lower or upper freezers, side-by-side freezers have more features. They are available in a wide range of models. If you have extra money to spend and space is a problem, you should choose a refrigerator from side to side.

French door

French door refrigerators are as elegant as their name. They are a combination of bottom freezer and side-by-side model. Which means you have a double door refrigerator with a freezer on the bottom. They are ideal for homes that have large families or tons of groceries and food to store. Compared with the rest of the models, the refrigerator with French doors is the most expensive option in the market. If money is not a problem and you are looking for the best class, choose French Door.

Size/:

The next question is to ask yourself what size you should buy. Here are the capacity ranges of the four models:

Top freezers: 14.5 - 24.0 cubic feet.
Bottom freezers: 19.0 - 24.9 cubic feet
Side by side: 20.0 - 29.0 cubic feet
French doors: 18.0 - 32.0 cubic feet.

As a general rule, for each adult in the home, you need 4 to 6 cubic feet of space in the refrigerator combined with some extra space. For example, if you are a family of four, you may want to obtain a refrigerator with at least 20 cubic feet of space.
The second factor to consider when deciding the size of the refrigerator is your kitchen. You do not want to buy a full-size refrigerator just to find out that it does not fit or that the door can not be opened because there is less space. Before going to buy refrigerators, measure the height, width and depth of the space in which you will place the unit.
Last but not least, when you buy a larger fridge: the initial and downward costs also increase. The bigger the fridge, the more electricity bills you will have.
Now that you have decided on the size and model of the refrigerator you want to buy, there are some additional factors that you should consider.

Smart refrigerators:

Orient refrigerators are backed by intelligent refrigerator technology. All thanks to technology, we first had smartphones and now we also have smart refrigerators. Evident by its name, intelligent refrigerators aim to make your life easier. Whether or not you should buy a smart refrigerator depends on your budget. Here are some features that smart refrigerators come with:
Voice control: with voice control, you can adjust the temperature of your refrigerator, know if you should replace the water filler, etc.
Refrigerator camera: the camera allows you to check what's inside the refrigerator from your phone.
Applications for refrigerators: some refrigerators come with touch screens on the door with own kitchen applications.

Counter-depth refrigerator

This is one of the most redundant terms you’d hear while shopping for refrigerator. Counter-depth fridge simply means a unit that can align perfectly with the edges of counter tops of your kitchen. The reason why it’s popular is that it gives a custom-designed and expensive appearance to your kitchen. They are comparatively less spacious than other refrigerators and cost more too.

Common Refrigerator Problems

Image result for refrigerator "blog"
Like other modern appliances, refrigerators have "turned digital," updating many components with more advanced ones as technological progress continues. Despite these changes, the way refrigerators work has not changed much, except that the refrigerant is no longer chlorofluorocarbons (like freon) but the new HFC (tetrafluoroethane), which is more respectful with the environment.

Undoubtedly, it would be good to read a good article about the basic operations of the refrigerator, as well as the manual and the user's guide that came with your appliance. When you understand how the machine works and you are particularly familiar with the specific model that is sitting in your kitchen (or anywhere), you will be much better prepared to realize that things are going badly.

Basic observations

Without going into the material you will study about your specific refrigerator, or spoiling the "introduction to the refrigerator" reading fun, let's review the basic concepts of the appliance.

Essentially, you have an isolated container (the "box") that uses chemical and electromechanical methods to extract heat from the inside. It is important to understand that refrigerators do not "cool" things as much as they eliminate and dissipate heat.

The chemical, HFC, changes from liquid to gas in a process called "vaporization". As it travels through a series of coils, in the back of the refrigerator and around the internal compartments, it switches from liquid to gas (and vice versa). ), extracts heat from the compartments and then dissipates it. That's why there are warm spots behind and below the device.

Leaks are not as common as in the old days, but they can still happen. Any whistling, liquid stains or loss of cooling efficiency may be attributable to a leak or valve problem.

Electric gremlins and humidity.

It may seem obvious, but the problems of the power supply start with the plug. If you lose power intermittently, check that your plug is fully inserted, that you have not removed the grounding plug and that you are in the appropriate house circuit. Numerous problems can arise when the feeding situation is not "cuppable," such as when you try to use a standard extension cord for the refrigerator. This is a fire hazard, as well as being a bad thing for the appliance.

If you notice condensation on the outside and / or inside walls and accumulates below the bottom drawers (on certain models), there may be a problem with the timer or the thermostat that help control the defrost cycles. Do not just clean the evidence without checking more thoroughly to find the cause (s) of the moisture.

Another accumulation that must be taken into account in frost-free models (in other words, all modern units) is: frost! If your freezer compartment does not stay away from ice and frost, which happens often enough to mention it here, then it is much more likely that you are facing a "programming" problem (timers, circuits) than a chemical one.

The isolation of the door is your friend.

Perhaps one of the most common problems with refrigerators of all ages is the isolation of the door that loses its flexibility and efficiency. If this material dries and starts to deform, crack or harden, it will not keep the air in the room out. This, of course, will lead to an increase in the interior temperature.

Check your insulation regularly and clean it with baking soda or a "silicone conditioner" available at the hardware store. You want to make sure that you get a tight seal when you close the refrigerator doors.

Like any modern appliance, you will "know" your refrigerator and become familiar with the sounds it makes, the appearance, and the amount of heat and (transient) condensation you will notice here and there during normal operation. When any of these indicators change, especially when they do it quickly, you can safely assume that something is wrong.

Just remember to use common sense. It is a machine that uses electricity, electromechanical components, chemical products and certain construction materials. All of these have normal operating conditions and ranges, any deviation from which you should be instructed to check the various systems. If you do not have enough knowledge to diagnose and repair problems, be sure to find someone who is!

Are you going to pre-order Samsung's Galaxy S10 5G?

Samsung came out shaky two months ago when it announced the Galaxy S10 lineup. Not just one, two or even three models. The company unveiled four types of its latest smart phones. Different specifications and different features (or change from model to model), different price points.
Samsung wanted to get the Galaxy S10 for anyone who might want it, and yet it seems to have been successful.
The Galaxy S10e, the cheapest model in the collection, still brings a lot to the table, a powerful device in itself. But for some, things are really interesting (and already excellent) with the Galaxy S10 +. But as you might expect it is not a cheap smartphone. The price starts at $ 999 and comes to $ 1599.99 (!) For the model with 1 TB of internal storage. This is a lot of phone.
Samsung has opened the final variants of the Galaxy S10 5G, which starts at $ 1.299.99 and rises to $ 1399.99 for 256GB and 512GB, respectively. These are not cheap phones, but the good news is that thanks to iPhone X we're all used to it now. Some sophisticated phones will not be what they used to be.
Whether the price of the card is actually worth it, it will come to the individual. The justification companies at this stage is that these smart phones are the daily use of most people, and for some, the most important device they have. So, pay for the best device you can get (and then upgrade within a year, thanks!). With over $ 1,000, it's good that we have monthly installment plans from transport companies and manufacturers at this stage.
But installment plans may not make them worthwhile for some. The expensive phone may be expensive, no matter how you hand over the money. But maybe make specifications and features everything is a must when buying.
Is the Galaxy S10 5G the right device for you? Whether it is the highest specification of the device itself, or cellular connection that supports 5G, is this the next daily driver? And more, is the 5G connection is the main selling point for you? Are you planning to preorder for the new smartphone? let me know!
I still remember the time when companies such as Samsung, HTC, Motorola and other companies launched so many different phones all the time that it seemed a daunting task to keep up with each of them. This was only in the United States. It got worse when I looked internationally - especially if you (or you still) loved to import some phones. But those times came and went, so when a company like Samsung takes the afternoon to announce one or two, or even three, but five new smartphones do not feel it in one way or another.
Helps, at least a little, that three of the new phones are just different forms from each other, perhaps.
If you miss it, Samsung announces the new Galaxy S10 lineup today. The lowest price starts from $ 749.99 (a direct competitor to the iPhone XR, of course) and this will be the Galaxy S10e. Next is the Galaxy S10 standard, which brings up screen size and specifications / features, and starts at $ 899. Then our Galaxy S10 +, which, again, raises screen size and specifications / features, has a price starting from $ 999.
That may seem enough, right? Many devices have different display sizes, features, and price tags. but that is not all! We have the Galaxy S10 5G, which has the largest display group, but shares many other features of other phones. It also has 5g, a strong selling point.
Now, I need to point out that Samsung has also announced the Galaxy Fold phone, a $ 1980 retractable smart phone launched in April. We'll talk about it in future writing. Right now, I just want to focus on devices that are priced in such a way that they actually fly out on shelves next month.
There's a lot to do about the Galaxy S10, with prices that do not look outrageous, and the specifications are worthwhile. The Galaxy S10e lowers some features again so you can host a smaller price, but it does not look terrible by any means. Exactly like the iPhone XR. The Galaxy S10 / S10 + looks like mobile phones for what they bring to the table.
So, options! It is a good thing! That's what I'm curious about after the dust settled. Now that the Galaxy S10 has officially become available, which one of these devices will be your daily driver? More importantly, what about the new phone affected you? price? Advantages? Are you waiting for the 5G model? let me know!

How would you change the Samsung Galaxy S10?

Samsung's tenth anniversary of Galaxy S has gone well! The company announced the launch of three new smart phones with the brand, where the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + were officially presented to the world. The phones have welcomed Infinity-O's design in the main fold and have brought many other useful features to ride as well. Of course, the price reflects all that, for better or for worse.

But at least, the Galaxy Fold is not $ 1,980, is it?

There's a lot you like about the Galaxy S10 lineup. Whether the fingerprint reader (on the Galaxy S10e side) is included in the screen or in the powerful camera systems on the back of each model. Monitors, as is the case with any Samsung classy phone, is amazing to look at. It seems that battery life this time is actually something to write about home.

If the Galaxy S9 is a disappointment to most consumers, it looks like Samsung has found its place again with the Galaxy S10. I was recently in a cellphone shop, and there were half a dozen people buying the new Galaxy S10. I have already started seeing the phone (phones) located in the wild as well. It is easy to capture this large screen with a small opening in the middle of a large crowd.

Every phone has been available for some time now. You can choose from different types of storage, all of which go down to the amount you want to pay. This means that people who have already chosen their latest smartphones have plenty of time to walk around. Get used to the new program, changes in hardware, either fall in love or hate the new design.

That's why it's time to ask: What can you change in the Galaxy S10 if you can? For those who already bought the smartphone and used it regularly as a daily driver, what about your new smartphone that you will change? Do you choose a small frame at the top to get rid of this Infinity-O design? Do you prefer fingerprint reader on the back of your phone?

For people who have chosen to skip the Galaxy S10, what about the device itself will need to be changed to think about? If you bought the Galaxy S9 last year, did you skip the Galaxy S10 and wait for a phone next year? Or are you planning to capture Galaxy Fold?

Samsung announces the Galaxy S10

Samsung launched its latest non-packaged event by unveiling the Galaxy Fold, the first smartphone to fold. Now that this has become far from limit, the company has now unveiled its latest flagship phones, the Galaxy S10.
The company has just announced a new family of phones, starting with the Galaxy S10. In addition, the company also announced the Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S10 +. but that is not all! The smartphone manufacturer has also dismantled the Galaxy S10 5G, which, as the name suggests, will offer a 5G connection when it hits the market later this year.
The first up is the Galaxy S10e. This is the smallest phone in the group. Features a full HD 5.8 "HD Full HD + AMOLED display with 19: 9 aspect ratio. There are two cameras in the back: a 12-megapixel double-pixel camera with" AF, F1.5 / F2.4, OIS ", and a 16-megapixel high-definition secondary. Meanwhile, around the front, there is a 10-megapixel shooter.
Depending on the market, there is either a 64-bit 64-bit 64-bit processor with a 2.8 GHz clock or a 64-bit 8nm processor with a maximum of 2.7 GHz. The Galaxy S10e comes with either 6 GB or 8GB of RAM, and 128 GB or 256 GB of built-in storage. It also supports microSD card up to 512 GB. The battery reaches 3100mAh, which comes with a new feature called PowerShare Wireless. This means that the wireless charging capacity of the Galaxy S10e will also reflect the wireless charging of the device it supports.
The Galaxy S10e is running Android 9 Pie, under what Samsung has now called the One User Interface. It supports NFC for mobile payments, and features fingerprint sensor and face opening for biometric security measures. The price starts at $ 749.99.
Next, Galaxy S10. This is a 6.1-inch curved dynamic AMOLED display with a 19: 9 aspect ratio. There are three cameras in the back: the 12 megapixel zoom shooter, the 12 megapixel wide angle camera and the 16 megapixel camera to bring things closer. There is a 10 megapixel front camera on the other side. It provides the same processor as the Galaxy S10e, so according to the market, customers can expect 7 nm or 8 nm chipset under cover with a slight variation in speed capabilities. The Galaxy S10 provides 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB or 512 GB storage. It supports microSD card up to 512 GB.
There is a 3400 mAh battery, an Android 9 Pie system under Samsung's One UI UI, a PowerShare wireless system with wireless charging capabilities, and an on-screen ultrasound sensor. The price starts at $ 899.99.

The Galaxy S10 + has a 6.4-inch dynamic, 4-inch curved AMOLED display with a 19: 9 aspect ratio. It has the same trio cameras as the Galaxy S10 (12MP + 12MP + 16MP), but this includes a pair of 10MP front cameras And 8MP on the other side. The Galaxy S10 + provides 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM, and a built-in storage capacity of 128 GB, 5612 GB or 1TB. It supports microSD card up to 512 GB. The battery is 4100 mAh and is running Android 9 Pie outside the box and features one user interface for the Samsung UI.
The Galaxy S10 + also provides support for wireless charging, as well as PowerShare from Samsung to charge other devices that also support wireless charging. Contains an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the screen for biometric security measures, plus a face opening feature for good measurement. The price starts at $ 999.99.
Finally, Galaxy S10 5G. The 4-megapixel AMOLED features a dynamic, curved 6-inch display with a 19: 9 aspect ratio. There are four cameras at the rear: the 12 megapixel telephoto lens, the 12 megapixel wide angle, the ultra-megapixel 16-megapixel shooter and the 0.5x / 2X optical zoom. The front camera faces 10 megapixels. The Galaxy S10 5G does not support a microSD card, but it provides 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage. The battery measures at 4500mAh.
The Galaxy S10 5G has the same ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the screen, along with all the standard sensors you expect. It has better network connectivity thanks to the 5G option, which makes the device capable of downloading 2.0 Gbps and 150 Mbps downloads. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be any specific information in the press release concerning when or how much it will cost.
Each device will be available in Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green, Prism Blue, Canary Yellow and Flamingo Pink. In addition, Samsung says the Galaxy S10 + will also be available in black ceramic and white ceramics. All feature a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
As for the issue, here is what Samsung says in this regard:
"The Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 + and Galaxy S10e will be available in stores and online from March 8, 2019. The price starts at $ 899.99 for the Galaxy S10, $ 999.99 for the Galaxy S10 + and $ 749.99 for the Galaxy S10e. Galaxy S10 + and Galaxy S10e tomorrow, February 21, 2019. For a limited time in specific markets, consumers who request Galaxy in advance.

Are you going to reserve a Samsung Galaxy S10?

Samsung knows you know it will launch a new phone soon. Or, specifically, many different smart phones. The Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + have already leaked several times before the February 20 release of Samsung. As Samsung realizes that its next devices are not completely secret, why not start people signing up for it?

Earlier in the day, Samsung launched a dedicated website that will allow people interested in the upcoming Galaxy S10 to grab their interest in new phones. Samsung is quick to point out that the offer it offers - which can get up to $ 550 from the new Galaxy S10 - is not available for every model, but does not break any of the new phones that will not only be covered so far.

It's definitely a unique step! If only because the company has not officially announced anything yet.
The Samsung booking page will allow potential customers to show interest in a new smartphone, to the maximum extent to choose which telecommunications company you plan to use (or just choose to unblock). You can then select your eligible device and see what you'll get for your new phone.
Now, as my colleague Alex points out, "It is important to note that the Galaxy S10 will not automatically place an order on the device when sales start, instead you will have 72 hours after the machine starts to complete the purchase if you do not order within 72 hours of sales, You will lose your reserved priority to place a request. "

I am very curious to see the numbers behind when they are said and done, but I would not be surprised if Samsung never confirms anything like that. However, this interesting idea to excite the hype of a device has not been announced yet. In addition, knowing what you'll get for your new smartphone, which is not launched for nearly a month, is a great way to plan ahead.

So I have to know: Are you planning to book your place for the Galaxy S10? Now we know what to expect from the hardware for the most part, so it looks like a very safe bet. However, it may be worth waiting to play with one of the new devices personally before choosing to skip a lot of money. what about you? Book now or wait until you check out? let me know!

YBR 125 vs Honda CB 125 F – A detailed comparison!

After the launch of the Honda CB 150 F again in 2017, Atlas Honda, the largest holder of the market in Pakistan for motorcycles, the New Year began the launch of the Honda CB 125 P car. New Bike 125 CC capacity in the market, where I realized Yamaha YBR roots and has proven itself as one of the best bike ride from the city to the long tourist bike.
So, could you compete the Honda CB 125 F with Yamaha YBR 125? Let's start by comparing and decide for yourself which bike is best suited for your use.
Please note that I have compared the most important parts that make the core of any bike otherwise the material will become very long and boring.
Before I start comparing, let's first take a look at the technical specifications of both bikes:

Engine type:
Yamaha YBR 125: SOHC, 4-Stroke
Honda CB 125 F: OHV, 4-Stroke
One of the major and articular differences is the types of their engines. The Honda CB 125 F is an OHV car while the Yamaha YBR 125 is the OHC engine. Now we know that OHV is an old but not obsolete technology, while OHC engines are now common in almost every car. The upward trend of the OHV engine is that these engines are simpler in design and have lower production cost while the OHC engine has a higher production cost due to its complex design, ie a complex roller head.
The OHC engine can get higher RPMs in your bike while it is not recommended to use higher RPM in OHV because of pressure. Because on the higher RPMs, pushrods must withstand great pressure and may disintegrate. There are other types of ups and downs in both types of engines, but OHV is less common compared to OHC as OHC engines are fuel efficient. Another proof on the OHV is that it gives you an early torque or torque per minute rpm, but the downside is that it produces a lot of vibrations. OHV is also twice the fuel consumption.
So, Yamaha YBR 125 got a better engine.
Gear shift pattern:
Yamaha YBR 125: Reverse Shift Pattern
Honda CB 125 F: Forward Shift Pattern
Now, this is interesting. I was expecting to have a reverse shift pattern in the Honda CB 125 F but it is turning forward. Both are good to go but there is a clear reason for manufacturers who add reverse shift pattern in bikes. As of Pakistan where most bikes are manufactured taking into account the street racer, the forward shift is the best. I just know here that the reverse shift gives the rider interest on deeper curves. This is famous for racing bikes where it needs to focus on the road instead of the foot movement.
Both shift patterns are fine. There is nothing more to debate about.
Ground clearance, wheel base and dry weight:
Surprisingly, the Honda CB 125 F features a lower ground cut and a longer wheelbase compared to the Yamaha YBR 125. This means that the Honda CB 125 F gives a better road grip and grip compared to Yamaha YBR 125.
The Honda CB 125 F has a much more attractive weight compared to Yamaha YBR 125. The extra weight also captures the grip of the road and handling the bike but comes with the cost of the bike under power if the ratio of energy to weight is not appropriate.
Balancer:
The Yamaha YBR 125 comes with an engine balance which reduces the vibrations felt by the steering wheel, seat and footpegs. "Since the Honda CB 125 F is an OHV engine with no added stabilizer, we expect a lot of vibrations like CG or at least Honda Delux," Yamaha says on their website.
So, the Yamaha YBR 125 will give the rider a smoother ride experience compared to the Honda CB 125 V. Honda must have a stabilizer or similar to reduce vibrations. The downside is clear so far.
Pressure ratio:
Yamaha YBR 125: 10.0: 1
Honda CB 125 F: 9.0: 1
As for the pressure ratio, YBR takes command. More compression ratio means more fuel consumption but a strong blow to the piston and lead to more power for the wheel. Honda behind it, but because of the OHV engine, it produces early torque. YBR may not give you an early pick (early torque) but in the long term, Yamaha YBR 125 will certainly beat the Honda CB 125 125 F. But for a short burst race, the Honda CB 150F or even the CG 125 will win the race.

price:
Yamaha YBR 125: 139,500 Pakistani Rupee / -
Honda CB 125 F: PKR 159, 900 / - and PKR 161, 900 / - Special Edition
Now, this is the deciding factor. What you will get at these prices will determine the success of each bike. As for Yamaha YBR 125 (especially YBR 125 G), it has already proven itself in the Pakistani market as well as in tours. Honda CB 125 F is new in the market and has not yet been concluded. However, there are approximately 20,000 Rs difference in each of their prices. All the features available in Yamaha YBR 125 are also available in the Honda CB CB 125 F. Therefore, the price of the Honda CB 125 F is justified even if it has an old OHV engine.
Well, if I close, the Honda CB 125 F is overpriced because Yamaha YBR 125 is the best in most features of the Honda CB 125 F and Yamaha YBR 125 is cheaper.
Apart from that, it is clear that the Honda CB 125 F looks just a Honda upgrade Deluxe. The common things that were missing in the Honda Deluxe such as the tachometer, fuel indicator, motion mode indicator, self-moving and alloy rim are now available in the Honda CB 125 V.
