A Complete Guide On How To Buy A Refrigerator

The time has changed. Every time you decide to go shopping, you will be bombarded with tons of options to choose from. The same case applies to the refrigerator. With the advancement of technology, manufacturers aim to provide their customers with a modern refrigerator, updated and equipped with the latest features available in the market. As a result, you will have too many styles, colors and smart features to choose from. Without a doubt, this can be overwhelmingly overwhelming for you.

But do not worry anymore, in this guide, our goal is to solve your problem and help you choose the refrigerator that is best for you. Let's start with the style.

Style:

When it comes to style, there are four popular options on the market: top freezer, bottom freezer, side by side and French door.

Top freezer

The top freezer is the most common style; Two-thirds of the refrigerator is dedicated to storing food, while the freezer on top is for frozen foods, ice, etc. The upper freezers give you a good storage space and are also economical. If you are not looking for something fancy and just want a refrigerator that does the work, do it.

Bottom freezer

Bottom freezer, evident by its name has the freezer at the bottom. If you want to have easier access to fresh foods, which are located in the bottom of a top freezer, the bottom freezer is perfect for you. It is not very different from a top freezer and they are typically a little larger than them.

Side-by-side

A side-by-side refrigerator model allows you to have frozen foods on one side and fresh foods on the other. While some models divide the refrigerator and freezer section equally, others give a few extra inches next to the refrigerator. In contrast to the lower or upper freezers, side-by-side freezers have more features. They are available in a wide range of models. If you have extra money to spend and space is a problem, you should choose a refrigerator from side to side.

French door

French door refrigerators are as elegant as their name. They are a combination of bottom freezer and side-by-side model. Which means you have a double door refrigerator with a freezer on the bottom. They are ideal for homes that have large families or tons of groceries and food to store. Compared with the rest of the models, the refrigerator with French doors is the most expensive option in the market. If money is not a problem and you are looking for the best class, choose French Door.

Size/:

The next question is to ask yourself what size you should buy. Here are the capacity ranges of the four models:

Top freezers: 14.5 - 24.0 cubic feet.
Bottom freezers: 19.0 - 24.9 cubic feet
Side by side: 20.0 - 29.0 cubic feet
French doors: 18.0 - 32.0 cubic feet.

As a general rule, for each adult in the home, you need 4 to 6 cubic feet of space in the refrigerator combined with some extra space. For example, if you are a family of four, you may want to obtain a refrigerator with at least 20 cubic feet of space.
The second factor to consider when deciding the size of the refrigerator is your kitchen. You do not want to buy a full-size refrigerator just to find out that it does not fit or that the door can not be opened because there is less space. Before going to buy refrigerators, measure the height, width and depth of the space in which you will place the unit.
Last but not least, when you buy a larger fridge: the initial and downward costs also increase. The bigger the fridge, the more electricity bills you will have.
Now that you have decided on the size and model of the refrigerator you want to buy, there are some additional factors that you should consider.

Smart refrigerators:

Orient refrigerators are backed by intelligent refrigerator technology. All thanks to technology, we first had smartphones and now we also have smart refrigerators. Evident by its name, intelligent refrigerators aim to make your life easier. Whether or not you should buy a smart refrigerator depends on your budget. Here are some features that smart refrigerators come with:
Voice control: with voice control, you can adjust the temperature of your refrigerator, know if you should replace the water filler, etc.
Refrigerator camera: the camera allows you to check what's inside the refrigerator from your phone.
Applications for refrigerators: some refrigerators come with touch screens on the door with own kitchen applications.

Counter-depth refrigerator

This is one of the most redundant terms you’d hear while shopping for refrigerator. Counter-depth fridge simply means a unit that can align perfectly with the edges of counter tops of your kitchen. The reason why it’s popular is that it gives a custom-designed and expensive appearance to your kitchen. They are comparatively less spacious than other refrigerators and cost more too.

How would you change the Samsung Galaxy S10?

Samsung's tenth anniversary of Galaxy S has gone well! The company announced the launch of three new smart phones with the brand, where the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + were officially presented to the world. The phones have welcomed Infinity-O's design in the main fold and have brought many other useful features to ride as well. Of course, the price reflects all that, for better or for worse.

But at least, the Galaxy Fold is not $ 1,980, is it?

There's a lot you like about the Galaxy S10 lineup. Whether the fingerprint reader (on the Galaxy S10e side) is included in the screen or in the powerful camera systems on the back of each model. Monitors, as is the case with any Samsung classy phone, is amazing to look at. It seems that battery life this time is actually something to write about home.

If the Galaxy S9 is a disappointment to most consumers, it looks like Samsung has found its place again with the Galaxy S10. I was recently in a cellphone shop, and there were half a dozen people buying the new Galaxy S10. I have already started seeing the phone (phones) located in the wild as well. It is easy to capture this large screen with a small opening in the middle of a large crowd.

Every phone has been available for some time now. You can choose from different types of storage, all of which go down to the amount you want to pay. This means that people who have already chosen their latest smartphones have plenty of time to walk around. Get used to the new program, changes in hardware, either fall in love or hate the new design.

That's why it's time to ask: What can you change in the Galaxy S10 if you can? For those who already bought the smartphone and used it regularly as a daily driver, what about your new smartphone that you will change? Do you choose a small frame at the top to get rid of this Infinity-O design? Do you prefer fingerprint reader on the back of your phone?

For people who have chosen to skip the Galaxy S10, what about the device itself will need to be changed to think about? If you bought the Galaxy S9 last year, did you skip the Galaxy S10 and wait for a phone next year? Or are you planning to capture Galaxy Fold?

YBR 125 vs Honda CB 125 F – A detailed comparison!

After the launch of the Honda CB 150 F again in 2017, Atlas Honda, the largest holder of the market in Pakistan for motorcycles, the New Year began the launch of the Honda CB 125 P car. New Bike 125 CC capacity in the market, where I realized Yamaha YBR roots and has proven itself as one of the best bike ride from the city to the long tourist bike.
So, could you compete the Honda CB 125 F with Yamaha YBR 125? Let's start by comparing and decide for yourself which bike is best suited for your use.
Please note that I have compared the most important parts that make the core of any bike otherwise the material will become very long and boring.
Before I start comparing, let's first take a look at the technical specifications of both bikes:

Engine type:
Yamaha YBR 125: SOHC, 4-Stroke
Honda CB 125 F: OHV, 4-Stroke
One of the major and articular differences is the types of their engines. The Honda CB 125 F is an OHV car while the Yamaha YBR 125 is the OHC engine. Now we know that OHV is an old but not obsolete technology, while OHC engines are now common in almost every car. The upward trend of the OHV engine is that these engines are simpler in design and have lower production cost while the OHC engine has a higher production cost due to its complex design, ie a complex roller head.
The OHC engine can get higher RPMs in your bike while it is not recommended to use higher RPM in OHV because of pressure. Because on the higher RPMs, pushrods must withstand great pressure and may disintegrate. There are other types of ups and downs in both types of engines, but OHV is less common compared to OHC as OHC engines are fuel efficient. Another proof on the OHV is that it gives you an early torque or torque per minute rpm, but the downside is that it produces a lot of vibrations. OHV is also twice the fuel consumption.
So, Yamaha YBR 125 got a better engine.
Gear shift pattern:
Yamaha YBR 125: Reverse Shift Pattern
Honda CB 125 F: Forward Shift Pattern
Now, this is interesting. I was expecting to have a reverse shift pattern in the Honda CB 125 F but it is turning forward. Both are good to go but there is a clear reason for manufacturers who add reverse shift pattern in bikes. As of Pakistan where most bikes are manufactured taking into account the street racer, the forward shift is the best. I just know here that the reverse shift gives the rider interest on deeper curves. This is famous for racing bikes where it needs to focus on the road instead of the foot movement.
Both shift patterns are fine. There is nothing more to debate about.
Ground clearance, wheel base and dry weight:
Surprisingly, the Honda CB 125 F features a lower ground cut and a longer wheelbase compared to the Yamaha YBR 125. This means that the Honda CB 125 F gives a better road grip and grip compared to Yamaha YBR 125.
The Honda CB 125 F has a much more attractive weight compared to Yamaha YBR 125. The extra weight also captures the grip of the road and handling the bike but comes with the cost of the bike under power if the ratio of energy to weight is not appropriate.
Balancer:
The Yamaha YBR 125 comes with an engine balance which reduces the vibrations felt by the steering wheel, seat and footpegs. "Since the Honda CB 125 F is an OHV engine with no added stabilizer, we expect a lot of vibrations like CG or at least Honda Delux," Yamaha says on their website.
So, the Yamaha YBR 125 will give the rider a smoother ride experience compared to the Honda CB 125 V. Honda must have a stabilizer or similar to reduce vibrations. The downside is clear so far.
Pressure ratio:
Yamaha YBR 125: 10.0: 1
Honda CB 125 F: 9.0: 1
As for the pressure ratio, YBR takes command. More compression ratio means more fuel consumption but a strong blow to the piston and lead to more power for the wheel. Honda behind it, but because of the OHV engine, it produces early torque. YBR may not give you an early pick (early torque) but in the long term, Yamaha YBR 125 will certainly beat the Honda CB 125 125 F. But for a short burst race, the Honda CB 150F or even the CG 125 will win the race.

price:
Yamaha YBR 125: 139,500 Pakistani Rupee / -
Honda CB 125 F: PKR 159, 900 / - and PKR 161, 900 / - Special Edition
Now, this is the deciding factor. What you will get at these prices will determine the success of each bike. As for Yamaha YBR 125 (especially YBR 125 G), it has already proven itself in the Pakistani market as well as in tours. Honda CB 125 F is new in the market and has not yet been concluded. However, there are approximately 20,000 Rs difference in each of their prices. All the features available in Yamaha YBR 125 are also available in the Honda CB CB 125 F. Therefore, the price of the Honda CB 125 F is justified even if it has an old OHV engine.
Well, if I close, the Honda CB 125 F is overpriced because Yamaha YBR 125 is the best in most features of the Honda CB 125 F and Yamaha YBR 125 is cheaper.
Apart from that, it is clear that the Honda CB 125 F looks just a Honda upgrade Deluxe. The common things that were missing in the Honda Deluxe such as the tachometer, fuel indicator, motion mode indicator, self-moving and alloy rim are now available in the Honda CB 125 V.

Honda CB 125F - Detailed review

Honda CB 125F - Detailed review
The beginning of 2019 was about the long-awaited model presented by the Honda Atlas - the Honda CB 125F.
Atlas Honda Pakistan was the most popular brand in the country for decades. The automotive industry in Pakistan has also grown very fast from five years ago. Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki have turned their equipment in terms of technology and design. Gone are the days when traditional motorcycles were only available to the local rider.

Atlas Honda Pakistan, which already owns a series of motorcycles in the 125cc category introduced a whole new CB 125F system. Other models in the same engine capacity bracket are:
1. Honda CG 125
2. Honda CG 125 Dreamer
3. Honda Deluxe (stop)
Honda launched its all-new CB 125F at a launch event in Lahore on January 4, 2019 . The event was full of expectations in terms of what the company brought to the table, this time. However, it ended with a common perception that CB 125F was just another alternative to the Honda Deluxe now suspended with some changes.

The Honda Atlas CB 125F was launched in two forms:
• Honda CB 125F (Basic)
• Honda CB 125F (Special Edition)
The all-new Honda CB-125F is a direct competitor to the CBR125G, which was launched in 2018.
the design
The two variables of this form are presented in different colors. The basic shape of this motorcycle comes in three colors including red, blue and black, while the SE variant comes in red and black only with a different color combination system.

The motorcycle has an aggressive and sporty facade with an elegant front lamp, which comes with a neon light under a modern mask. However, CB 125F indicators are disappointing. Honda used the old indicators for CD 70 in CB 125F, which did not fit the aggressive front appearance of the bike. The plastic cover extends from the headlight, along with the side covers and the graphic sticker on the fuel tank in the basic shape of the silver colored motorcycle. However, the front mud visor of the bike is the color of the body.
In the special edition, the plastic cover extending from the side of the lamp and the sticker on the fuel tank is red, while the side covers and front mud guards are black. The front mud guards for the CB125 F are red, while the special version comes in black. The CB 125F contains a sporty fuel tank with stylish redesigned graphics on both sides.

Instead of having a sloping rear angle to extend the sporty appearance of a motorcycle, the seat of this model is very flat. It also makes it an ideal motorcycle for low-seat families. The aluminum retention rod is small compared to the CB150F, which runs behind the tail light. The Tail Light is a elegantly designed part that adds elegance to the back side of the motorcycle. In general, the motorcycle looks sporty and emotional while looking at the back of the car, it looks more than a two-wheeled car. Perhaps the Honda Atlas has tried to incorporate two designs into CB 125F.

While we are talking about the information gathering standard for CB 125F, there is not much to highlight. There are two separate circular meters on the screen. Honda is optimistic in its approach by providing a speedometer with a top speed of 160 km / h which is practically not achievable with this motorcycle. Along with the speedometer, there is a tachometer at the bottom of which a fuel gauge is provided within the same counter. There is a logo for the Honda Atlas on the bottom of the two wheels. In addition, there is a neutral indicator between signal indicators.

Unlike other models where a side lock is secured for safety, the CB 125F has a lock inside the ignition key. You only need to rotate the key to the far right to lock the handle. The side mirrors of CB 125F are disappointing. They are traditional in style, similar to those fitted in the Honda CD 70. On the right handle, we have a red color button, self-start which is not of good quality. The left handle contains all the main controls, such as the headlight, which are supplied with the high beam option. The role indicators are also provided with a two-way button plus a toot button.

Technical Specifications:
The Honda CB 125F comes with a 440 OHC (OHV) air engine. Without a balancer, the introduction of a new model in 2019 using OHV technology is a big disappointment from Honda's Atlas. The presence of a direct competitor such as the Yamaha YBR125, which comes with the Overshaft Camshaft (OHC), is not a smart move by the manufacturer. The two techniques vary in terms of cylinder header configuration.
